NEW RMRcc Red Dot Optic from Trijicon

Earlier today Trijicon announced their newest red dot optic, the RMRcc. Specifically designed for slimline pistols such as the Glock 48 or a 1911, the RMRcc is essentially a scaled down version of the legendary RMR.

Users will find the RMRcc instantly familiar. The bat-ear shape housing is retained for durability. Power still comes from a bottom mounted CR2032 battery, potentially giving years of life. Brightness settings are adjusted via sealed + and – buttons on either side of the housing. Shooters have the choice of either 3.25 or 6.5MOA dot reticles to suit their preferences.

New features include a proprietary footprint. This stems from the miniaturized footprint compared to the RMR, while still retaining CR2032 batteries. Currently companies such as ATEi and C&H Precision are supporting this new footprint with direct milling and mounting plates. Another change is the 3MOA per click adjustments for elevation and windage. This turns into roughly 3/4 inch at 25 yards, meaning a slightly less refined ability to zero compared to larger optics.

RUGGEDIZED MINIATURE REFLEX FOR CONCEALED CARRY

The RMR®cc is specifically designed to give you confidence in concealed carrying.

Split seconds matter. The new Trijicon RMR®cc has a thinner, lower-profile design that reduces the risk of snags for a faster and easier draw. Although smaller, the RMRcc keeps all the great features of the Trijicon RMR®. Easy-to-use buttons, a common 2032 battery with up to 4 years of illumination, and a wide variety of mounts to fit today’s popular concealed carry pistols, the RMRcc is the clear choice in personal defense. Shoot more accurately with a single, crisp, clear aiming point superimposed on your target. Once zeroed in, where you see the dot is where your bullet will impact. Your eyes never need to leave the threat which allows you to stay focused on the situation. Born from the industry-leading Trijicon RMR, the new RMRcc has the same reliability you expect, designed for concealed carry. The slimmer design fits a variety of pistols providing comfort during everyday carry. Carry confidently with a sight that increases your speed, improves your accuracy, and keeps your focus on the target.
