New Magpul Products | SHOT Show 2020

Magpul Backpacker

Magpul filled their booth to the brim with new products at SHOT Show 2020. Attendees were like kids in a candy shop, with something new available for everyone.

D50 9mm Drum Magazines

Magpul's D60 and D50 drum magazines for the AR-15 and AR-10 series of rifles were an instant hit. With the rise of PCCs in competition and personal defense, shooters have been clamoring for a reliable drum magazine in pistol calibers. The wait is finally over with the EV9 and GL9.

The EV9 is Magpul's fifty round drum for guns using CZ Scorpion Evo pattern magazines. Continuing their already popular line, the GL9 fits PCCs that use Glock magazines. At this time, the GL9 D50 WILL NOT fit into Glock pistols due to geometry differences. One of the more interesting aspects of the GL9 D50 is the new follower which acts as a bolt hold open device. This allows shooters to know when they've emptied the magazine instead of getting the dreaded "click".

Both the EV9 and the GL9 will be available by Summer 2020, and will be priced comparably with D60 magazines.

PMAG 10 5.56 AC

Small bore precision shooters rejoice! Magpul is now offering their take on AICS magazines in 5.56x45. The PMAG 10 5.56 AC is a single stack, ten round, constant curve magazine designed for use in standard AICS magwells. Using a patent pending technique, the magazine raises the rounds slightly higher to ensure proper feeding.

Magazines are compatible with all Hunter stocks, and can accept rounds with an overall length of up to 2.39".

The Magpul PMAG 10 5.56 AC will be available this summer. MSRP is $39.95.

Magpul Hunter 110 Savage 110 Stock

Following the popularity of Hunter stocks for Remington and Ruger rifles, Magpul has added Savage 110 compatibility to the line. Hunter 110 stocks are compatible with Gen 3 actions using 4.4" action screw spacing. This is the first in the Hunter line to have options for left handed shooters, acting as a test bed for future iterations. The stock is also compatible with heavy profile Palma and Varmint barrels.

The Magpul Hunter 110 Savage 110 stock will be available Summer 2020, and has an MSRP of $299.99.

BTR and BSL Pistol Braces

Magpul is jumping into the pistol brace market with the BTR and BSL. Better late than never, right? The BTR and BSL braces feature 3 adjustments for length of pull and fit any milspec buffer tube. Both version feature QD cups for mounting slings and other accessories to aid in stabilizing your one-handed grip.

Both braces will be available this summer and retail for $59.99.

PC Backpacker Stock

Everyone from Boog Bois, to Preppers, to your uncle Fudd have been waiting for this. The PC Backpacker is Magpul's takedown stock for the Ruger PC Carbine. The fore end features MLOK slots at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions for mounting lights and other accessories. Cheek risers can be swapped out for use with different sights, and conceal a storage compartment which fits a 27 round GL9 PMag.

The barrel half of the gun can be stored in a cutout in the stock, held in place by both the rear of the barrel, and a front locking mechanism. When in the stored configuration, there is enough clearance for a 12 round GL9 PMag to be kept loaded in the gun. This means that you can store up to 39 rounds onboard your PC Backpacker when stowed.

The Magpul PC Backpacker has an MSRP of $149.95 and will be available this summer.
